How We Review Content
PetTravelPlan maintains a structured review workflow for destination, airline, and guide content. This process improves reliability but does not replace official verification at booking and travel time.
How official sources are checked
- We review primary destination authority and airline policy pages for each published entry.
- We update planning-oriented summaries and keep official links visible on public pages.
- When confidence is insufficient, we use manual-review wording instead of favorable assumptions.
What “Last reviewed” means
Last reviewed indicates the date PetTravelPlan last performed editorial review for that page, not the date authorities last changed policy.
What “Source checked” means
When shown, Source checked reflects when listed official links were last manually re-checked by our workflow.
How “What changed” notes are maintained
Change notes are shown only when there are real entries tied to reviewed source references. We do not fabricate update history.
How corrections are handled
User-reported corrections are triaged through the Contact form. Verified issues are reflected in content updates and, when applicable, change notes.
Planning aid positioning
PetTravelPlan is a planning aid, not an official approval channel. Final travel decisions rest with airlines, veterinarians, handlers, and authorities.
